Blending the meditative qualities of Japanese aesthetics with the cultural richness of Batak heritage, the work unfolds through cinematic imagery, ambient soundscapes, and restrained visual compositions. Featuring Talitha Maranila as the central muse, the campaign presents Sonar Ukiyo not merely as an architectural destination, but as a living space where culture, memory, and stillness coexist. Rather than documenting a place, the project invites viewers to drift between worlds– experiencing the property as an environment for reflection, connection, and quiet discovery.
